Same with hooking up with drunk girls.

I know that guys will advocate for taking her out on a date at a bar and getting a drink or two but I am starting to think that this is risky. Maybe it is because of the stories I have heard from #MeToo and the amount of false accusations flowing around but I think that alcohol can wildly impact a woman's mood and makes her more prone to remorse if you two end up f-cking. If she is pissed off enough, has enough remorse, or is a bit wacky then there is a chance that she can report you to authorities.

Maybe I am being extreme here so you can all chime in but I think mixing alcohol with girls you have just met is just asking for trouble in this day and age.

Even without the #metoo issues you have buyer's remorse and inflated tabs (if you can't get to your go-to spot for the meet). Coffee dates are a valid alterative for a quick meet to set up a later drink date (possibly at your/her place) where you know the girl's into you. If you're meeting lots of girls or need bail money, this is a cost-effective strategy.
