"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

As anyone who reads any of my posts can see.. although for the most part, accecpted my mistkes I made with my old oneitis, I'd be lying if I said I never thought about her from time to time. I dont' know why.. well... being hot helps, but I run into alot of hot women, I guess it was the competitive nature of me, getting something I can't have. However, as far as dating other women, jealousy, etc, I have long moved on.

Anyway, I get a call today, she says she is in my area and wants to stop by. I haven't seen her in about half a year. So she comes over, and the entire time I am looking at her thinking "damn... you aren't worth it" And funny thing is, she looks better now then she ever has. But all I could see is I don't know what it was, but I just was thinking, as good looking as you are, you aren't worth it, even as a friend.

And she thinks she is doing me a favor for stopping buy for 5-10 mintues... which is honestly my fault from mistakes i made int he past, can't complain about it, but nevertheless.

So she leaves, and I delete her phone number the second she leaves. I actually felt kinda disgusted wtih myself after she left, like I finally turned around and looked in the mirror or something.

Anyway, I don't know what it was, but I don't think I will be thinking about her too much in the near future. I am proud of myself but at the same time, sorta disgusted that I not wasted, but spent that long, pretty much wanting something that bad, that wasn't worth the value I placed on it.

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

Beauty is more than skin deep - she is "hot" on the outside and "cold" on the inside makes her an ugkly woman!!

Good looking Hors become bland as time passes - what you need is a good woman who has a good character and values and one who genuinely cares for you - I take it you are tiring of the hor scene!!

well, i've known her for 5 years, know her like the back of my hand... is she a *****? no.. is she childish, very.

Just a bunch of silly ****. And I have enough friends, but as good looking as she is, there are thousands of woment hat look better, hell I saw one today. She just irriatates me now. She gets these guys, who literarly worship her, she wont'' date a guy she is very attracted to, he is either extremely aveage or like her last BF of 3 years, ass ugly, just so she can get the constant ego trip.

What the **** did I do? It's all starting to seriously sink in.

Everybody has their weakness. It seems like everybody has a oneitis. We think we want that one girl, but in the end it turns out to be a blessing because we would have been whipped anyway. So many married couples are ruled by the woman because the guy married his high school girlfriend and could never imagine himself with another woman so he ends up a whipped husband whom no one respects, not even the oneitis wife he is sucking up to.

I mean it's REALLLY sinking in... DAMN.. and I actually have alot going for me. I'm soo happy I never dated her, because I can a) do better in all honestly and b) would not be where I am, not the same drive

But everything happens for a reason

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Props, backbreaker.

What you did in the past is not what counts (unless it has resulted in consequences that are making your life more difficult now), but your current attitude is what's important.
