I totally get this too man. I've been doing alot of thinking about it as well.
It's really annoying to have the ugs and dirtbag chicks hitting on you, eh?
Here are the reasons that I could find
1) You perhaps have low self-esteem and subconsciously go after ugs. They respond because they can't get none anyways
2) Like me, you hang out with the "not so cool" people. When I changed, I became the only "cool" kid in the pack and thus had ugs at my heels thinking that soon I'll be "too good for them" so they had to make their move and get aggressive
3) You are more comfortable around uglies, and are less intimidated = more attraction from the uglies.
On that note...uglies will hit on you more, because they have to. To get any rod, they have to be more aggressive and assertive. They have to approach. This is what happened to me. Then I realized that the HBs don't approach, they don't have to. If you want a quality girl, you have to put some effort in.
I started putting some effort in and I've gotten results. My standards are way higher(although when I'm hammered, I'll fvck fat chicks by accident).
The key point is: If uglies are clawing at your heels, YOU ARE DOING SOMETHING RIGHT. The only issues then are 1) social status. They still feel they can get a piece of you because you arent intimidating socially to them.
2) You aren't putting effort in. In other words, you aren't going up to girls you think are hot, and flirting with them. Therefore you get the leftovers and sloppy seconds(or thirds
)
Put some more effort in man. I always thought I was ugly, and still do to some extent, but the girls I'm dating now prove otherwise. If you're anywhere close to my situation, all you need is a dose of confidence and some game and you'll be nailing HB7-10s by summer.
