"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

ok, this is the situation, ok, first, i met this girl on a website that goes to my school, we talked, and i think it was during spring break when we started talking online, ok so then we came back to school, i finally met her in person in school, so like after 2 or 3 weeks we were going out, we lasted most of april till she just told me she wanted to talk to me and told me that we should better be just friends, she told me that it was that she didnt see me very often cause she cuts a lot and cause she stoped lookin at my like a boyfriend, and saw me more like a friend, ok so, for some reason, i was like all cool after she said that for the first week, and since after she broke up wit me i didnt see her for that whole week, the day that i saw her i found out i still like her, and i already got another girl that im supposed to go out wit in a week, but i still remember this one girl! i cant get her out of my mind! so, the new one that im going out wit, i know her for a long time, and after i told her that i broke up wit my ex, she told me she was jealous, in her own words, it was jealous beyond jealous lol. ok well, i was thinking, wat if i tell my ex that im gonna be going out wit this new girl? do u think that will make her want me again? i cant get her out of my mind!!! so if u dont know or think it will help, at least tell me how can i get her out of my mind?!!!! and please dont come up wit stupid stuff like hit urself in the head wit a rock till u lose ur memory lol PEACE!

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

I'm still getting over a breakup that happened in January. It just takes time. It'll subside. Just try not to think of her.

I know you don't want to hear it...but she doesn't think you're good enough for her, that there's guys out there that are better than you. That doesn't piss you off in the least bit? Don't go off on a murder spree...but realize that she doesn't want you anymore...that helps release the pain too.

My head hurts.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

Because of how much you suck.

Nah jk.
Take some time off. Go to some clubs. Go out with some mates who are real DJs and who try to hook you up with someone, like in Swingers. ;)
She doesn't want you. Don't try and make her want you.
Prove to her how foolish she was breaking up with you, but don't do it just to try and make her jealous.

Its called lust.

Do this, think about all the negative things about her, ie:
She blows you off for her friends
Flirts with other guys in front of you
Has a big chin
Complains about everything
etc. etc.

Sit down and take a good 10 mins thinking of more of these, but don't think about the good things about her. Focus on the negative.

For more effect, after your 10 mins, focus on the positives of other girls you know, and why they are better than your ex.

Soon you will realise that she's not all your mind has made her out to be. ;)

you do not want her back.

go get a piece of paper and a pen.

write 100 times " i do not want her back"

do this daily until you get bored, get back out of the house, find a new chick and get over it.

trust me.... i have been in your shoes, you do not want her back. its not worth it. things just get harder if you try again after a break up .
start fresh and new.
