"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

So I'm playing poker at the casino last night and before I went out I read skipsback's post about "before you go out make sure you can say to yourself, I couldn't look any better." Well I did the opposite, I went out with a 3 day goatee looking all scraggly, a marines T shirt & some jeans going to play some poker on Christmas Eve. The last thing on my mind was meeting a HB & trying to game her while I work on my Texas Hold em' skills, besides I look like chit. So I get there and its as usual, dudes playing poker, rowdy tables, boring tables & no HB as usual. So then I really start to relax. I get in a pretty rowdy table where theres tons of action. So I'm winning lots, then losing lots and if you play no limit holdem you know you can get pretty frustrated to a point to where your in a bad mood. After about 4-5 hours our table gets spit and I'm sent to a different table right next to a HB8.5.

My 1st response would be damm, you sit right next to a HB8.5, your in a fvcked up mood, you stink, you look like chit and you know your gonna wish you hooked yourself up before you went out cause your gonna wanna game her. That's not what happened last night. Last night I could give a fvck. I sat down right next to her, ask her to move over some and slam my chip rack down lol. She turns to me and says:

HB: hey, the dealers asking you a question
Me: what does he want
HB: he wants to know blah blah blah about your chips
Me: I look at dealer, point down to my chips & ingore HB 8.5

I continue playing and could care less about HB when she turns to me again and says:

HB: were you in the marines (looking at my shirt)
Me: yea (not even making eye contact)
HB: oh wow that's cool
Me: ...........

Now gradually I'm getting into a better & better mood. I'm getting in a better mood cause I'm winning stacks & stacks of chips from this chip leader guy at the table. Turns out this guy who I'm taking stacks from is the guy that HB came there with. Now I still don't know if that was her B/F, friend or what cause this just happened but I'm hoping more along the friends line for his sake cause of how things went down from that point on, if that was her B/f then he's ACF to the fullest.

So I'm winning and I start getting into a more open mood. I start chatting people up, cracking jokes. HB notices a bunch of crumbs left buy her seat and turns to me with

HB: look at all those crumbs, who was sitting here, ugh
Me: the cookie monster??
HB: cracks up like thats the funniest thing she ever heard in her life
Me: I'm out guys ::too the table:::
Hb: oh your leaving?
Me: yeah I'm gonna go see if I can catch santa crawling out my chimney
Hb: Lol, well merry christmas
Me: you too
Hb:: hands me business card nonchalantly like almost underneath the table & gives me a big azz kool-aid smile:: & says Bye

I take card, grab my chips & exit stage left.

Now I'm a guy that usually puts a lot of effort in when I get ready to go out. Clean shave, perfect cologne, nails clipped, ect. Hell I even do some dips/ push ups before I roll out. When you do this for so long you feel a lil weird when you change it up. Almost like you feel naked without it. Now after this experience I feel I may have been wasting my time with all that. Can it always be this easy? Time will tell cause I'm definetly gonna mix up how I prepare myself & see what results I get. I'll keep you all posted on how this plays out.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

You wheren't on the pull and therefore predatory, she could talk to you without fearing you where going to hit on her. You where funny. You where in the military and she obviously likes military men. You where a winner at the game you where playing. I wouldn't base your decision on what women like by this one success.

I haven't really figured this one out yet either as I've noticed this phenomen as well. I don't really care about how I look at the time, when I get dressed up I do it because I want to however if I can't be arsed I will got to a club or whatever looking like a slob.

This happened to me about a month ago. Just went to a little league basketball game that my little brother was playing in. I was all shaggy. Unshaven with hairs growing out on my jaws, and i needed a haircut. And, to my surprise, there came a girl that sat right beside me and she kept scooting closer and close, so I know she was interested. I got her number.

Dude get ready, the ones that you seem to pull at the least expected times(your least amount of effort) are the ones that stick around.......Well that's how it seems.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.
