Hey guys, how's it going? I was leaving the grocery store 2 days ago with my mind else where. When this girl was trying to get my attention. I finally realized it was actually my attention she was trying to get.
Well, turns out she's an activist recruiter. My first reaction was "oh no not again". So, anyway I stopped to listen to what she had to say. During our conversation she maintained lots of eye contact, initiated mild kino in the form of a high five and then after I told her I won't be able to make any financial
commitment to the cause. She threw me for a loop and said, "that's fine that
they are looking for volunteers to go to a rally they are having in Antarctica and they ship off tomorrow. She invited me to come" I was stunned considering the distance and short notice, lol. She could see the puzzled expression on my face and she burst out laughing and said she was just messing with me.
So, I thought to myself since this activist is trying to sign me up I'll just sign her up myself, lol. So, we talked for a bit and she confided in me about some of the difficulties of the job. So, I told her I'd like to come to a rally they are having on Sunday. So, I handed her a pen and paper and asked her to write down her # for me and she did. Then I put my # in her phone and left.
I texted her yesterday night and she responded. I came to find out she lost her job yesterday because she didn't meet the required quota. The convo was good and then she stopped responding. So, this afternoon I asked her what was up with that and she told me she had fallen asleep. So, we talked some more about her interests and she asked me about mine. She's a pretty cool chick. Which leads to why I'm actually posting. I found out she's 18. I'm guessing she will be 19 this year. She never asked my age. So, is it wrong for a 32 yr old guy to go out with an 18 yr old? I don't know why I felt a bit of guilt. I did ask her out to go to the beach or shoot pool/hang out (because I was going to ask her out anyway). To which she said she was pretty booked today and I said "lol, "pretty booked" you almost sound like a gym instructor or therapist. Alright, let me know the next time you have time." Anyway,she hasn't responded. Thanks for your feed back
