I pay for the dates?

I am dating this girl now, and one thing that I have noticed is that she seems to think that I should be paying for most of the dates we go on.

Although she doesn't say it straight out, I can infer it from her actions. For instance, she doesn't ever offer to pay, sometimes not even for her own share. Also, she might "just have" only a couple dollars with her at the time, to which I end up covering.

To me, this is utter bullsh*t. First off, I am pretty f*cking tight on money. Secondly, where the hell does she get off thinking other people should pay for her?

She's not the gold-digger type, but I think she has this notion of the guy covering her.

Anyway, I don't plan on wasting anymore money like this, and I am wondering the best way to present my view on the issue to her. Have any of you guys had a similair situation? What did you say?

From now on, she is going to be paying half of her share on everything, regardless, unless it's a gift or something to her. I want to make sure she understands this the next time we go out.

Do not be fooled by their mind tricks.. even guys who are weak minded will say "YOU ASKED HER OUT, YOU PAY" there is a contingent of girls that look the other way, or wait for you to pay, whatever. You should have your wallet ready to pay for the check, and if she doesn't have a wallet ready it means only one thing... SHE WANTS TO USE WHAT SHE CAN OF YOU. She may give the illusion that she loves you or she cares about you, but that's only because YOU PROVIDE THE MONIES. i think thats with most girls if ur cheap or not financially money and job most girls out there are seeking the bigger and better one be it car, money, job, status.

Unless there is a major disparity in your incomes, (such as your last name is Gates and she is on welfare) she should be offering to pay a decent percentage of the time.

You need to make your disgust with this known. She may come around and she may not. Whatever the case, you cannot go on like this.
