"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

My little brother just changed schools. Here in virginia our Middle Schools start in grade 7. All of his friends from elem school now go to another HS. and I know he feels kinda depressed because of that, I knwo I did, it was hard. middleschool/highschool, hes new to my school[i'm a junior] and knows NO ONE. The problem is the kid isn't out going. The kids kinda weird, alil overweight[not FAT but not skinny] and I guess it runs in the family to be a complete AFC[I jsut managed to find this site, and change my ways].
The things the kids has: time, hes only 12[has a girlfriend, but i'll get to her in a second] and well, hes got me as an amazing mentor. I went from weird-ass loser in middle school to now, know by every single person in my grade, and the majority of the upper and lower classmen.

Now his "girlfiend." Shes a girl from his old school he knows. Shes also 200lbs. The second my mom dropped him off at hhis mall date she called me to say "patrick, your brother is with that girl..she slike 200lbs. I feel bad for the girl...but wow." get me?lol Shes a complete AFC, they literally spend 2+ hours on the phone every damn night, tis annoying.
His old girlfriend he had in elem school he wen tout with, and then realized she wasn't hot, and the broke up lol.
I think the new one is jsut his way of coping with the new school, you know, someone he knows is giving him attention and he likes it.

But man o man, This boy needs to be whipped into a Don Juan. I jsut not sure how to go about helping him out[I assume you all agree he needs some help, yes?] 'mn to sure fi now is the right time, he is young..but then again, a fresh start as a DJ in his school could hlep him out. or atleast hed be on the path...but tis a lot of info for a 12 year old.

Any input?any ways of going about this whole ordeal? I'm jsut tryna help him out. anyone else done this kinda thing?

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

Just help him out once in a while by giving him tips and stuff that you know (confidence, eye contact, other simple stuff). Don't make him feel like he's being dictated though because it'll make him resent you a lil bit...at that age you have to learn things and try them out for yourself but good advice will help alot. Also, tell him to stay active. Maybe join a sport.

BTW, youre a good bro:D
