I need to get back to the paramount of success, the feeling and epiphany of true happiness, true confidence, infinite courage, and a great sense of well-being. That point when people envy you, when women love you, where you seem to be excelling in everywhere in life. The point where you become a true Don Juan, a real Man, the point where you become your true self, when you become the person that you want to be in life.

The point when you don't need this website anymore.

I have gotten there before. How do I stay there? Or at least get there again? I have not progressed my character into something better in the past 8-9 months. I need some help.

People of SoSuave, if you have any help to give at all, whether you are new or experienced here, or if you are even just a lurker, please give advice on how to just be.

I'm working on this my self.

What I'm trying to do is find direction. If you have a direction to go you can progress towards it and thats all that life is about.

If you don't have direction, and linger in thought, thats when you lose yourself.

Go on a solo trip somewhere. Think of 3 places you've always wanted to see, write them down, and think on it 1 night. Then just book a ticket. One way. Don't plan a date to come back. Trek the neighborhoods and their histories, mingle with locals, go on outdoor adventures. Approach women.

Stay in a hostel but be very weary and read the reviews online, don't stay anywhere with a rating under 4/5 or 80% approval. You will meet people from ALL OVER THE WORLD and make friendships (or relationships) that you will remember forever. But most importantly spend some valuable time alone. You come to value breaks when you're walking around all day or constantly socializing in the lounges.

How do I know? My father died 6 months ago and it's been a struggle. I just recently got back from a 10 day trip from California and had the time of my life. Last summer I did the same in Niagara Falls, Canada. Both times I came back a new man, with nuggets of wisdom I didn't have before. It gave me confidence and perspective - a thirst for life so to speak. So much so that I'm going to Denver in May and then branching ever further to the United Kingdom in June. I'm just getting started.

I hope this helps.

The thing is, I'm still in high school. I can't go travel the world like how I want to.
