"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Ok here's the deal, I have alot to say but I need to make my voice stronger to make myself heard

I read Senor Fingers tip on Empower Your Voice but it didn't really help me at all. Some tips I'm looking for are how to get a deeper, louder, and more bassy voice. I've noticed it helps when I get out of the gym but I can't be 'getting out of the gym' all day.

Any advice?

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

YOU have to exercise your voice now, speak loud and progressively lower it to the needs of others. You can locate your voice, but if you have already noticed that it is too low, you have to raise it.... YELL!!!

yell and than progressively lower your voice, and than practice at certain, levels and find which one would suit your goal the best.

Never forget that when speaking in a quiet area that a low voice invites the girl into your personal space to listen to you. I still think that is bull, I praticed getting my voice to where people listen around my table and surrounding people will hear without anybody piping up that I'm being a loudmouth. You've got to tone your laughter as well, that was the key I didn;t have, I had a silent laugh from the belly.

Practice laughing, bring it from your throat to your lungs and from your lungs to your belly, without submissing it completely to your belly, just above the recesses of your diapraghm and actual stomach. your throat is too high pitched(can bea heard for miles) MY lungs are too deep, my stomach stifles it, but people enjoy my laugh now where it is and start to almost giggle along with me...

I was scared like you, but I faced my fear of people laughing at my voice, and now people tell me that they love my voice:crackup:

I've been working on imporoving my own voice, but I would also like to benefit from other people more, so give feedback.

Pay attention what you say and how you say it.

Get rid off words such as:
"like"
"you know"
"dude"
brain farts
"ummmmm"

Slow down too, talk slower then you usually would. Build anticipation of what you are going to say and just PRACTICE:
- talk to every one
- make eye contact when you do
- telling stories and jokes even if you suck at them now, you have to start telling them

My voice is naturally deep enough to have been slapped with the nick "Baritone". But I was tossed a tip for people with higher voices that even helps me control my tone for a more solid and projecting voice.

Stretch your throat the same way you do when yawning, but keep your trap closed. Sometimes at first it helps to begin with an open mouth as if you're yawning (when you're solo) and then close it. Hold it for a while and then speak.

You should notice the effects right away. If not, you're doing it wrong. It should resonate from deep in your chest, not your throat. Once you've got it down, keep up the practice until you can do it with a closed mouth from start and without actually yawning (you'll fall into it here and there right off).

It would be recommended to get a digital recorder, maybe from a radioshack.

Record your voice while reading a paragraph, what do you sound like. I sounded like a child when I first was recording

Record yourself anytime, when you have a job interview, during a presentation.

Try some of these

Inhale much air as you can and say "ah" that only you can hear it and say it as long as possible

Do the same thing but say the word "EEE" as long as possible

Humming to your favorite songs are also good

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

Voice comes naturally....If you have a "high" voice, then just try to lower your voice.

everybody suggests talking with a loud voice... anyway, i don't think it's good... the guys who people usually like to listen to are those who speak with soft voices... like they're in trance

too bad that i tend to talk really loud

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
