"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

There is this girl (well lol that is original), anyway, I met her a month or so ago at her work, a Restaurant/Bar and I introduced myself and chatted for a bit and asked what she likes to do for fun, I felt had a vibe.

I go there once a week, always say hello and maybe some small chat and I have noticed that she sorts of pushes her way forward to serve me at the bar, not only this but I am a big fan of cheesecake and twice they haven't had any for me, even though it's on the menu.

Today, she came over and I noticed she was all cute and nervous and explaining to me that the cheesecake wasn't set and asked me if I would like something else (I was with my Family for a farewell for one of my Brothers) so I ordered a Banana Split and she bought me back my money for the cheesecake and the banana split had like little cookie bears, wafers and lollies (and it normally just has banana, ice cream and a sauce) and when she bought it over she said I hope you enjoy it and said my name with a smile on her face and did this coy thing when I said thank you.

Is it just her being super friendly for the service or does she like me?, my Dad noticed her actions and she think she does as well, my problem is I haven't had a good run with girls for the past few years and I want to know how I should ask her out and in all honestly I am afraid of rejection.

Any tips and advice would be greatly appreciated.

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

although be careful, because if you ask her out and she says no the sky might fall down and the end of hte world might be upon us. demons from hell will suddenly appear nad start eating babies and women will grow penises.

this is some serious sh*t dude!

:) but seriously, just ask her out. life is short. if you feel a vibe, ask her out and see what happens.

the worst that happens is that she says no. no big deal.

Listen to you! Reading into every little reaction trying to build evidence that she likes you.....

"Hmmmm, she put extra toppings on my banana split.....I knew it, she likes me!" :)

I can tease you about it because I've been there so many times! So many times I've come across girls and analyzed every little detail of the interaction. For instance, a long time ago I met a girl who worked in a book store. The first time I saw her I had walked into the store and she gave me this enthusiastic "hi!". I nearly sh!t my pants because it was such an obvious come on. So what did I do? I went back there time and again for a month straight looking for PROOF that she liked me. But eventually her interest level seemed to die off BECAUSE I never made a move. Long story short, I never asked her out.

Looking back now, I've went out with girls who seemed to have little or no interest in comparison to that girl I met at the book store. I just wish that I had the courage back then to make a move and ask her out.

Trust me buddy, regret is far worse than rejection.

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

Tell her next time to use the cookie bears to spell out her phone number.

Someone get THIS guy a cookie. Or the hot girl from Wutang's thread. JK. But this is your answer right here. And if your daddy noticed it, it is there. Get her, tiger!

Let us know what happens.

That's why I posted this and I thought if I remembered every little detail, then it would help other posters to give me advice and tips.

I was cheated on in my last longterm relationship and the slut ****ed my ex friend because the loser plied her with E one night and anyway...I find it hard to trust people to be honest with you friend.

In conclusion, I wasn't trying to build evidence, maybe I am not ready yet...I did quite well in my 20's and now in my early 30's things are so different and a lot of people are sheep and fake.

The No is what I am afraid of, I'm only human, but you are right I should just get some balls and do it.

I right there with you my friend.

When the people closest to you violate the trust you took for granted, how can you have any trust in people you don't know as well?

When you look behind the thin veil of humanity the world is indeed an ugly place....

:) Trust me man, I wasn't making fun of you for what you are doing. It's quite natural and I still do the same thing on occasion. You absolutely are trying to build evidence for your case that she likes you and there is NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT. You want to make absolutely sure that she likes you before you pull the trigger right? So every little detail you see as PROOF that she is in to you.

I'm just saying it's better for you to stop analyzing the situation and just go for it. You say that you've been hurt in the past. We all have man. But you can't let that **** stop you from living life. Life is too short not to go after what you want. But only do it if you are ready.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
