I really need some tips on removing this whole pedestal image thing of women, but its hard to not treat girls with specialty in a society like today's. If little miss "world revolves around me" is rude to you, then you say something rude to her, she'll call you "mean" and the blame is put on you, then YOU feel bad. There's this one girl named Marissa(who has a younger brother in my grade) who's a junior, may not have the best bodies(Average), but she's in my opinion one of the hottest girls in our school, when I first saw this girl, it was like being the midst of a goddess, I don't usually get nervous around girls, but this girl was different, there was something special about her. There was this time after track practice, where we were the only two people standing in the lobby, waiting to be picked up and I wanted to approach her, but I didn't feel that I was good enough, I constantly looked over to her, but never did I actually approach her, I had the oppurtunity to talk to one of the hottest girls in the school and I blew it, because I was too much of a damn coward. The thing with her and most girls is, that I constantly feel that I need to seek their approval, that I'm not good enough for them, that I need to talk to them differently than I would a man(For instance, with guys, I just talk, with women, I feel that I need to plan things out), I don't even have to like the girl either, it's the same with average, everyday girls. I want to remove this image from my mind, but I have no idea how I would go about it doing it, so I need your help. Basically, how does one go about removing this pedestal?
