"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

There was this girl at my old school that I really admired. Her name, I can't say, but it's been 2 years since I moved away and I can still remember her face perfectly. Yeah, kind of creepy, but it goes to show you how close I was to this girl. Its not only her that I can't get over either, I still remember the good times I had with her friends too. I can still remember the day I met her, the time we went to the dance together, how we were in the same Science and Math class, the last time I saw her, all in 7th Grade. Overall, 7th Grade was a good year for me, at the beggining of the year, I was that anti-social geek that only had a few friends; by mid-November, I was the ****y and funny guy all the popular girls and jocks wanted to talk to, best part about it, I didn't even have to think about being C&F, it just happened. Somehow in 8th Grade, in a new school and in a new enviorment, I went back to being an anti-social loser; probably because I missed my old school so much.

This girl was different from other girls, oh yeah, she wasn't afraid to be funny, she was very nice, we had alot in common, she was caring and best of all, she runs track. I regret not getting this girls phone number on the end of the year field trip that year and it's because of that that I might never see this girl again. I miss the school alot too, I mean, as far as acedemics it was average and the teachers were good, but the thing I miss most about my old school, my friends. Right now I live about 15 miles away from my old school and I've been attending this new school for a good 2 years. I've been able to meet new girls and haven't had much trouble making new friends, but it's just not the same. I know that there's a very small chance that I'll be able to see that girl again, however, I just can't get her off my mind, you know, get over her. To be perfectly honest, now that I'm at a new school and all I wouldn't want to go back, although it would be nice getting to see my old chaps again.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

15 miles away is nothing

find your old friends and give them a call

if you are old enough to drive you can go visit your friends cause 15 miles is about 15 minutes away.

Well yeah, that's the problem, I'm only 15, I can't drive yet. However, I might think about doing this next year when I get a car.

The same thing happened to me. Just as I was becoming a Don Juan in the since that I had friends and a life and didn't obsess over girls, I move. It was my choice to move though. I still really miss my friends but I plan on making new ones, and I will go back at the begginingof the school year to visit.

Just think of it as moving forward and use it as a lesson learned.

Wow viper your situation sounds like mine, i went to this really bad school (druggies n everything bad here) but i really enjoyed it there and i got my first girlfriend there and she was hot and i had a lot of friends there and got on with everyone. The problem came when my familly found out how rubbish this school was and they needed to move for buissness reasons so i moved about an hours drive away to [not saying] and there i became really depressed and anti-social because of the move ( i found out my last gf had left me for someone else) this got me into a bad mood and i was bullied so i hit out at someone and got suspended. I Haven't had a girlfriend in 2 years now and my life is falling apart, thats why i found this site.

Count yourself lucky that your only 15 miles away. I really know how you feel with this girl, was she your girlfriend? I keep obsessing about my last girlfriend every night i cant get her out of my head thinking she is with another guy.

Recently ive tried to change my game to my old self and ive moved school again. But the memorys are still there and its hard changing back to my old self.

Good luck.
