First of all I'd like to say, hey, and second of all I need advice lol...
Ok, my name is Jason in RL, and I'm 15. I am a shy guy, though I have considerably come out of my shell since I was younger, but now I need advice on relationships... First of all, let's go back to a land far, far away in Washington State...
I used to be a real nerd in my post-elementary and pre-highschool grades. I once even skipped school and ran home so I could get a few levels higher on a computer game called, Dark Age of Camelot. I guess you could say I was somewhat disturbed at the time, and instead of getting saturday school I blamed it on depression and I didn't get any punishment at all! >
Anyways, I got out of the gaming scene and geekhood about a year ago and am now heavily into music. I play the guitar, and I guess you could say I'm a songwriter, though I'm far from writing a "hit" song. I'm also thinking about doing "gigging" in the near future and hopefully will become a rockstar someday lol...
My problem is this, though I'm not really a nerd anymore, I feel like a loser; I've never gone on a date before. I have no problem talking to people I know, except for girls, and like every horny teenager, you get the urge to want a girlfriend. I also severely worry about saying or doing something stupid and it always gets me down. When I actually do or say something stupid it makes me feel like sh*t and makes me want to go home and cut my wrists(not literally, but you get the point). I can never seem to walk by a girl and smile or say hi, but I can talk to a girl if they are the one who starts the conversation... Most of the time.
Now, I need advice on what to say to girls. I saw this one cute chick at lunch, and I want to go up and talk to her. I don't know how to start the conversation or what to say. Should I say "hey, what's up" or "hi, what's your name"? Or something? I have the strange problem of thinking if there's no excuse for talking to them, why should I, they would think I'm a loser or in disgust. I wouldn't say I'm the worst looking guy in the world also; I'm pretty bad ass .
If I could get people to know me better I could actually become one of the "popular" kids. But there lies the problem, I just don't know what to say, and I know it's pretty pathetic .
