"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

Ok here is a little background:

I go to school full time and I work and I go to the gym and I am involved in Mixed Martial Arts Training. I am not an eye-sore, I am in good shape, I have a decent sence of humor and I would consider myself to be smarter than the average Joe.

At the age of 21, I am sad to say that I have not gotten laid very often (laugh all you want) I would just like someone as a friend with benifits a) to be better at the whole physical thing (becuase lets face it , I am not a great kisser nor am I an athlete in bed) b) to not have to deal with relationship drama c) to save myself some time since I never have time to deal with a real relationship.

mainly a) though becuase I am afraid that when I do find someone I am willing to dedicate myself to a 110% I am just going to drop the ball in that department.

How do I get one, what do I do?!?!

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

Easy

I've never been in a real relationship before nor do i want to. Getting involved with another chick full-time is a full-time job. They're all nuts, egotistical and demand way too much romance. But i excel in 'friends with benifits' type of relationship. So, on with the simplistic advice for an easy question:

Use all the sosuaveness advice we all know and love (Kino, teasing, flirting, etc...) and make sure she knows you do not get into committed realtionships by telling her this during 'casual' relationship-talk conversations. Then, when you start making out with her and whatever, reinforce this after you two finish, just so she gets it deep into her head of what just happened and for what reasons (after you kiss her for some time, give a naughty smile and say 'hey, don't fall in love, rememeber, this is fun, nothing else' or something of the ilk).

Some won't sleep with you if they don't feel an emotional connection (god knows i've stumbled upon this type many a time) so you just move on and find someone else.

That's it really...

Real simple.

Why do you need a FB? Will it help you study? Will you be a better driver? How will it improve your life? If it will improve your self esteem then ok, but you should really be looking elsewhere for approval. You need to find satisfaction in yourself, not in your need for sex.
Find a passion and live it.

I am not trying to be rude and thank you for the input but that really sounds like a speech from a teacher that is about to tell you you failed a class and trying to make you think that you are not smart enough to do math and should stick to english

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

First, post in the right section. As you can read from the description, DJ Tips is for sharing tips, not asking for them.

Second, read the DJ Bible, located here:

http://www.jbspencer.com/djb

Third, read it again.

Fourth, work on the DJ Boot camp.

Fifth, do a search to see if this topic has come up before on the forums ("how do I get a girl???" is not a new issue... )
