"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

I'm very sorry I told everybody here that I was going to basic training. I was supposed to ship out today. I know it may seem like I lied because I really expected to go to basic. here is my story I really did not lie.

I will try to explain the process as best I can. I went a few months ago to enlist in infantry. Two months ago I weighed 227 lbs and my waist was 39in. They then said my bodyfat was 25%, and I enlisted . When I did my inspect today I was taller by an half inch and I had lost two pounds since my last vistit. My neck was the same but my waist was a little bit bigger.

So they disqualifed me. This time they said my bodyfat was 28% even though I lost 2lbs. When I went the first time I was 236 they said I had to drop down to 224lbs and I almost did. Now they say I have to lose 14 more pounds. This will be my fourth time going. I don't really want to say goodbye to my family again and I'll probably seek and ELS because I can't handle this anymore. I really will be going offline because I expected to make money, and now my dreams are disrupted.

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

perhaps you should not go into the army.
perhaps you should be doing something else.

hey bud, i PM'd u..

i wouldn't give up so easily, and trust me, in Infantry basic u will LOSE A LOT OF WEIGHT.. i mean its like 13 weeks i believe and u will be moving the whole time.. if ur 235 now, i garuntee after basic u will be down around 200 and in best shape of ur life..

the key to passing the tape test is to make ur neck grow and ur waist shrink.. its kinda crazy cuz a lot of people lose weight but aren't clear because their necks get smaller, and as we know the waist is the last place to lose weight, so its kinda crappy..

but yea, def go back to MEPS..

i commend u for joining man, it takes a lot of balls.. but the things u gain in the long run are priceless and the possibilities are endless in the Army.. esp as an infantry man.. oh and before u enlist i would recommend getting Airborne in your contract too.. because that will pretty much garuntee u fort bragg and the 82nd Airborne, 173rd over in Vicenza, Italy, or the 172nd up in Alaska.. then theres always RANGER Battalion if u wanna do that kinda thing?? other than that u will either go to 1st Inf Div at Riley in Kansas, 2nd in Korea, 3rd at Stewart in Georgia, 4th at Hood in Texas, 10th Mountain at Drum in NY, 25th in Hawaii, or 101st at Campbell..

so yea, go back and aim to correct ur problem.. maybe i'll see u at Bragg sometime early next year?

You are going to try and stand up as tall as possible when they measure you height, even if your heels come up a little bit if they can't see you to give you an extra quarter inch and stretch your neck out.

When they measure your neck, just put your shoulders up a little let your neck relax and sink down so its not stretched out and this will give you an extra .5 to 1 inch on your neck. Then stand up as tall as possible when they measure your waist so it will ever so slightly elongate your torso and make your waist just barely smaller.

Plus in the mean time run like crazy, cause you will need it to get yourself starting in shape for basic. Oh and the last thing is you will want to dehydrate yourself a little bit the week before you go again. Do this by not eating any sodium(salt) in any foods, and have absolutely no carbs(no bread, pasta, candy, sugar, coke) for at least 3 days before. You probably will drop 10 lbs in pure water weight just doing that. As well as don't eat for at least 6 hours before showing up so your not bloated.

But most of all run and exercise and do some research on eating right. If this really is your dream and passion, then you won't have much trouble keeping to a diet.

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.
