I'm white as plasterboard, but grew up in a mixed neighborhood with the majority being black. Everybody, white or black, was all caught up in this whole I'm tough as hell persona. The guys I winged with as a teenager didn't make it further than high school if they were lucky, and most are in jail right now for acting "alpha".

Money comes and money goes, for a lot of folks it turns out that money just goes.

I've never given a girl more than a meal, and that is after we have hooked up more than once. Maybe its just been my present state of mind, but I'd rather give my money to somebody who will use it to sustain their life than to a slutty, obnoxious, girl with high expectations. For the past 16 months or so I've given more to the bum that hangs outside my apartment than I've spent on dates.
