I have Weird Abs

I don't know if this is a good thing or a bad thing.
I've always had weird abs.

Ever since I was half way through high school I developed some great abs. However they are no a standard 6-pack.

Beneath my chest the two are defined but small. Beneath these, the next two are about twice the size and spread apart.
Below is a solid chunk of muscle with no abdominal definition.

Chicks seem to like it because it's well defined and certainly very different.

Can anyone tell me how I got to be this way?
The only thing that springs to my mind is from years of kayaking?

It's the way the insertion points of the muscle vary, and lower abdomen area may have a slightly more fat area.
