"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Everything I achieve, that I do is put in my mind into a negative state.

Lately I started a new job (work/education) in aviation. I'm currently studying for it but even though I find the subject interesting (I choose for it) I find it pathetic and nerdy. I put this into view with woman and think "no girl would want me because of such a nerdy interest".

I currently live about 1h from this work, so I travel at least 2 hours every day by car. I love to drive, but think "I come home, have to study and have to get back in bed as I only have 4-5 hours in the evening, how and where will I ever meet a girl".

I used to work as a waiter, went to work usually at 17h and came home at midnight. Went with my bike because it was only 2km away and met people every day and from time to time some beautiful woman who I afterwards heard were interested in me. I truly do miss this, probably because I was used to it, but I don't know... I felt confident when doing my job, grew a lot those 2 years, now I go into work and feel worthless. Is being a waiter perhaps more for me?

Yes I put a tendency on wanting a girl. I should not do this I know that but it's difficult.

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

You have to do something drastic that can teach you the value of solitude and self-reliance. I was dealing with anger and feelings of inadequatecy as of very recently, but a 30 day backpacking trip to Europe changed that. I feel so enlightened - so alive - that it changed my mindset which has been positive for a few months now.

I did something unprecedented among my circle of family and friends, something people only talked about or dreamt about 20+ years down the line in their "retirement." It really convinced me, for good or for bad, that I walk on water and I carry myself differently now. I try with women, but I don't worry about flakes as much and don't qualify myself to them.

If you can't afford this, what about a domestic west coast trip by bus starting in Seattle and ending in Los Angeles? If you can't afford to travel at all, take up a sport or hobby and don't stop practicing until you get really good at it.
