"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Tonight i was hanging around with 3 of my closest friends, we are all 21 and have known each other since high school which makes it 7 years.

Anyway when i came to the place where we usually hang out 2 of my friends were completly drunk. They have been drinking since 3 pm and we met at 7 pm. This wouldn't have been a big deal if they didn't do the same fvcking thing everyday, but they do. Every single day they drink a minimum of 10 beers outside, they don't go to clubs or anything like that just drinking outside near some alcohole store and then waisting the rest of their money in a casino.

So tonight they berated me for not joining the drinking because i don't see the point in doing it everyday and i should loosen up. I mean yeah i like to drink but once a week in an ocassion when we go out.

I adopted the fitness lifestyle, eating healthy, busting my ass in the gym and i'm looking and feeling better than ever. And yet they think im wasting too much money on food etc. while they are getting fatter cause of excessive drinking and not giving a fvck about anything else..

It's funny that i appear weaker than the rest and a pvssy when i don't drown myself in beer. Isn't the point in life being the best you can be? While enjoying life? I don't see accomplishing that whilist turning into an alchoholic...

I have goals i'm working on and want to accomplish. I want to make myself succsessful and have an enjoyable life. And i don't want liver and kidney faliure by the time im 30 lol

This post has no point, it turned out to be my semi rant, but what do you all think of excessive drinking and that way of thinking?

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

@Tictac That is spot on. They want to have a lot of money and live luxorious, like that doesn't require busting your ass day in day out. I won't be joining them that's certain it's just that, this kind of attitude from them pisses me off even though i generally don't care what anyone says or does. Im too busy trying to make something out of my life. You are totally right.

@Young OG Haha yeah that thought is lingering in my head. Surround yourself with positive succsessful people in order to be succsessful right?

Friends are good man. I mean your friends aren't perfect but doesn't mean they should be an obstacle to you doing what you want in life.. You don't need to necessarily drop your friends to make new ones. Remember that.

Start hanging around people that carry the same mindset as you.. and when your current friends see you progressing and doing good, you might even inspire them :)

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

Friends come and go. I don't hang out with anyone from when I was 21 now. Try to find some friends that share similar interests. It's sounds like you are moving forward in life, while your friends are at a stand still.

@Mot1veProgress I understand what your saying and i agree that friends are not bad by any means at all. They are good guys but they seriously lack motivation to do anything seriously. I hope i will inspire them, i'd hate seeing them fail at life miserably. Thanks for the input :)

@Young OG Sadly it appears so. I now understand that as we grow and mature we sometimes need to leave someone behind, they aren't pulling me back per se but it will be better for me to surround myself with similar people. People who are hungry for succsess. Thanks for the advice man, this board is truly life changing.

You remind me of myself when I was a young man. I had a lot of friends who's main focus in life was getting trashed. I'd be lying if I said I didn't do my share of participating in that. But there came a time when I saw the dead end of it, and I wanted more. So I walked away from that, and worked toward my own ends. It's admirable that you have goals. My guess is that you are going to make something of yourself, and I wish you the best of luck.

Just another example of Crab bucket mentality.
Ahh the good old "If i can't have it neither can you". Shame if they really think that way, but oh well i can't do nothing about it.

It means a lot reading this. It is exactly like that from word to word, i get that we are young and we are supposed to party etc, but at the end it really serves no purpose. I still do it from time to time to relax and enjoy myself, meet some girls haha but i'm much more focused on getting where i want to be. Thanks for encouraging me i really appreciate it :) And by reading this i'm certain that you accomplished your own goals and are a succsessful man :)

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

Having friends is good, but hanging out with old friends is overrated. You might be able to inspire them or make them increasingly insecure and jealous. I am cutting off all my friends because they are boring and don't do crap and they work lousy jobs 9-5 and it just irks me that they don't want more out of life. Even missed 2 of my boys birthdays call it rash, but i'm working on myself instead of wasting my time with non sense. I want to own my own business one day i'm a budding entrepreneur, don't want to be around conformists

I feel the same way. It irks me that they don't have any motivation to change things, discover new things in life, they are just happy to be where they are at and on top of all that they are destroying their bodies with over the top drinking. Whenever i talk about positive mindset and mentallity, trying to explain that it's all in the mind and positive believing they laugh it out like im crazy. So i completly understand what you are saying man. Keep on working and griding, i'm sure you will accomplish everything you set out for. We really do need more hungry for succsess people out there.
