"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

This cutie I sort of know (we have chatted a few times and have been meaning to meet up for coffee for a while now) that lives up the road from me went past my bedroom window earlier today and I smiled and waved at her so I sent her a txt saying 'that was you that I just waved too right?"
and she sent one back saying "haaa haaa good spotting so coffee this week sometime?...

I sent back, "yeah, maybe when is good for you? do you have a cafe in mind?"

and hers was cafe down the road is fine, text me this week okay!,"

Anyways I kind of like this girl and don't want to **** anything up so I am asking my fellow DJ's to guide me along, to be honest the last date/Woman I had put me off females a little as she was quite crazy and spoke off exes in bed  ...

But yeah I want to get back in the dating game and I think this girl is keen...hmmmm...tips please...thanks

:cheer:

what does meeting up for coffee mean to a girl anyway?

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

What does meeting for coffee mean to her? It means you are meeting for coffee. She wants to see what you are all about.

Dress nice, smell good, open the door for her, make her laugh, and just act mentally stable.
Take an interest in what she is saying and try to be sincere. Leave her wanting to get to know more about you.
If things go well, offer her the chance to go out on a more action oriented date at a later time.

That's the simple stuff. The problem is more in your mindset.

You just can't let girls "put you off". 95% of them may be emotionally deranged, but if you worry about her problems, i can only imagine the amount of time you worry about your own.

Don't play the game "not to lose". How many sports teams do you think have been successful with that attitude? She's no better then you, treat her as such and just enjoy each others company. Don't think about failure, as its a recipe for, well.. failure. Ask anyone. Be positive bud. Good luck!

She flaked on me...it didn't even happen , I asked her today if Weds Night or Thurs Night would be good for her and she sent me a txt saying that this week is pretty hectic and that she will see....

So i sent a joking text that said well how about fitting me in your planner for next week? and then I got "sorry it doesn't seem to be working out it, too hard too find time...

why do I keep metting these ****ing flaky non direct *****es?...I am almost ready to become a monk.

Keep in mind that she did have my home phone number...

what the **** happened here?

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.
