alot of times when I'm chatting with a girl online, she'll randomly mention a song that just came on the radio. Normally I just ignore it and keep going on with whatever we're talking about, but I'm sensing a pattern. This is about the third or fourth time this has happened and I have no idea why they do this. Does anyone know either why they're doing it or what to do when that happens.
 

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

I think she's just being distracted... there's no real convo going on, so she just blurts out anything that comes to mind. Think of something interesting, have her talk about herself a lot.
