I was disk jockeying at a nightclub and had a female friend give me a ride. While I was DJing, I noticed that a girl I’ve been gaming was hanging out with my female friend (they never met before). Later in the evening, another girl that I’ve been gaming shows up. Eventually, me and the three ladies were sitting in a smoker’s closet, with one of the girls kino’ing me, and all the meanwhile I’m just playing it cool. I then hung out with gamed girl #2, and then at closing time girl #1 invited my female friend and me back to her place for after-hours.
When I got there, I learned girl #1 has a boyfriend that she lives with. So here I’m in her boyfriend’s apartment, with the boyfriend apparently out of town or something, and gamed girl #1 almost threw herself at me. She told me that I’m quiet, but that she likes quiet guys. She tells my female friend how she thinks I’m cool, and my friend told her how I’m mysterious. When I ‘clinked’ a glass of beer as a toast, girl #1 said “sex” instead of “cheers.” When it was getting late, girl #1 wanted me to stay and have another beer, but I declined. When it was time for me to leave, we half hugged sideways, but that wasn’t enough for her and so we hugged face-to-face. She tightly pressed her tight body for what seemed like 10 seconds and whispered into my ear that I’m welcome in her home at any time. The next morning I see on her Facebook she’s looking for a new room to rent.
Lesson of the story: it can be hard to build social proof, but it really works when you have it.
