"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

I just dont get it

Me and this girl have just recently been talking alot after we hung out at the beach last week. We flirted and it was obvious that there was an attraction there. After I went home we talked on the phone every night for 30min to an hour the next few days, and she really opened up and we talked about everything, including hooking up and how we should. I made plans to come down the beach again to see her. That night, she pays some attention to me but then flirts with my friend who came down with me. She was giving him alot of kino and being very flirty with him. This was making me a little upset, and I later found out that they hooked up that night. Why do girls do this

Why does **** like this happen? I guess ill shake it off... I know there are many other oppourtunities but I hate when stuff like this happens even though you play it so well. Ill never have those 4 hours of me pretending to listen to all her **** back, and I didnt even get any.

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

the better question.

Why did you bring your friend to the beach when you just wanted to hook up with this chick?

agreed...But I think you should NOT waste anytime with this girl
brad67,pathetic games and she flirted with the dude right in front of you?, why would you want something like that...I know it's not hard but forget about her, she is obviously into games and doesn't sound worth thinking about if you ask me.

It wasnt just us 3 at the beach, it was like 8 people. I came down with some guys and she came down with some other girls. And it was gay how she flirted with the other guy right in front of me... she definitely knew I was into her, and even if she wasnt into me, it still sort of pissed me off how she flirted with him right in front of me.

I will forget about her, we are going to a concert in a few days though and I still owe her money for my ticket... should I pay her?

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.
