AT the bar yesterday I asked my sisters friend if she had a cold sore on her lip? (she had a little blister on her lip)

Then she just gave me a death stare..and said its a scar from when she got into a car accident and flew out of the windshield and cut her face.

I felt like a total a$$ and apologized profusely..she was a bit miffed..

Rule of thumb - Never try to neg hit a girl's physical appearance..only her personality characteristics or clothes.

A neg hit is an insult disguised as a compliment. IE "I like your shirt, my kid sister has one just like it." The real tricky part about negs though is that you should only use them on VERY hot women when they're acting like they're too good for you.

Generally your game is fine without neg hits. They're not all that useful anyway.

I dont think Im using neg hits anymore. They always come out sounding wrong (well for me anyway)..and although they are insults and achieve the result I want..I just feel like an a$$ for having to insult someone to raise interest level.

NegHit does not mean insult! It's more a way of highlighting some of her negative traits (or ones that she may be insecure about) but putting a positive twist onto them.

So maybe you could have, and I don't know what she looks like or how prominent that mark on her face was, said some thing like "that's a noticeable mark on your face there, but it gives you that whole Cindy Crawford - imperfection highligting the beauty thing going on" for example.

So she's not quite sure if you're really insulting or complimenting her. That's my take on neghits anyways.

good point howie..she is actally a really good looking girl and her scar was heavily covered with make-up..I never noticed it before (she is a friend of my sisters)..but I was really up close to her face and noticed..I really thought it was a cold sore and was trying to tease her about it.

I know exactly what the concept of neg hits are..yet I cant seem to pull it off without insulting women.

Another time..I asked a hooters girl that had a bigger a$$..if the hooters orange shorts are One Size Fits All..she gave me a death stare too.

Starman: Those aren't neg hits. They are just plain insulting. Neg hitting is where you give her a slight disguised by a compliment. It's only used to bring down a chick on a pedastal. No reason to use them on any chick who isn't EXTREMELY attractive, or who thinks she is.

I'd say combined with lack of experience in using neghits and the sheer unluckiness of the girl you used it on - made things difficult.

Use neg hits exclusively and when you need to break the so-called "b!tch shield" - when she is coming across as a little arrogant towards you or has somewhat of an attitude problem, thinking she is the sh!t. It's because most guys kiss their asses. She thinks she is superior in some way. In most of these situations, such women are HBs.

Nevertheless, LOOK AT HER ATTITUDE...not solely their looks. She could be good-looking - and have low self esteem, or average looking and have her shield enabled (though quite rare in my experience). Also, it's the way you come across that is just as important as what you say..

E.G. One HB I neg hitted. A little arrogant. After speaking to her, I said in a jokingish way.. "oh what beautiful hair, what beautiful eyes, and what big feet you have!" (was wearing sandals). She couldn't stop laughing and even went bright red (underneath her tan). She wanted to do something, but I told her I was busy. haha.

Typically I call it a "sting in the tail". That's how I use them. It's to say, "I will not kiss your ass, you're not the sh!t you think you are". But it's not an insult per se. Practice it some more, it is a good weapon in the DJ arsenal, when properly administered in the right situation.

I also made one bordering on an insult - deliberately, just to see the reaction. A test. She was also very good looking, a little arrogant, and a bit on the skinny side. Nevertheless guys kissed her ass - and she KNEW she was great looking. I was fasting one day over Easter ... and she kinda mocked it, so I joked, "Of course, you do not need to - it looks at though you've been fasting for 20 years". She was a bit stunned but wanted a coffee with me later. Note the latter was prolly an insult..but it did the job - it increased her interest. I'm trying to define the borders of neg hitting...i.e. how far you can go - but I discover it depends on the girl you use it on.

I always have very good responses when I tease a girl with good humor. But in this situation, it is obvious that she's trying to hide her cold sore or whatever on her face and pretty sensitive about it. But I gotta be honest, in certain situation, I probably would take a hit at that cold sore too just for the hell of it.

I'm a pretty thin guy and one time this girl, on our first time out, said, "Holy shiet, you have thin wrists." and proceeded to hold her wrist up to mine for everyone to see.

I replied, "Nah, my wrists are normal. You just think they're thin cause YOU'VE got THICK wrists. Look at em! Looks like you got some damn Elephant arms.".

bwahahhahaha. I busted up and she shut the phuck up. After that she couldn't get enough and her interest went sky-high.

This girl did not have thick wrists...her's were normal and mine relly are thin. I just turned around though and busted on her. She was a little taller than me and used to guys chasing her. She ended up chasing me.

So as was said, you just gotta get a feel for what will get the reaction you're looking for. Practice and you'll get it. Sometimes you'll phuck up, but that's cool. Can't win em all. I've pissed off girls-o-plenty. Just roll with it and keep practicing.
