How's it going SS?

I've been a jobless bum for quite a while and it has been hampering my progress so I really need this job.

My ratio for interpersonal interviews isn't too shabby. I usually get hired but seeing that I'm kind of in a pinch and can't afford to botch this. I'm checking my ego at the door and asking for your help.

What are some of your opinions on giving a good phone interview(or interview in general) for getting hired.

Bare in mind this is mere grunt work(retail store) but this will give me some savings and most importantly, money for weightlifting.

Any advice appreciated.

You should have a good-sounding answer prepared as to why you have not been working, as well as other common interview questions. "Tell me your 3 greatest strengths and weaknesses" is a common one. The right answers all amount to reworded versions of "I work too hard."

A real zinger of an interview question is something like "We are interviewing 20 other people for this job; tell us why we should we hire you." That's another good one to prepare for.

Any good suggestions for an answer to this? My time since my last job has been spent trying to find other jobs. There really wasn't anything going on that would impede me from working. My classes had ended, any nice way of BS'ing my way out of that one?

Also any good responses to "tell us why we should hire you"?

I'm good with words but it would help to hear what more experienced men have to say.
