Hey guys,
The past two years I have been quite involved in improving myself and dating occasionally when I have had time. Unfortunately, all of the women I have dated have ended up being too slutty, one night stand material, and I could not find a girl who I actually LIKED!
For once, I've found a girl I like(at least so far.....one date and counting! I actually am dating 2 girls presently, but I am more interested in one than the other...). Though I have only went on one date with her, I sense she is a very responsible, sweet, sexy, and loving person(I am aware of what oneitis is-I don't have it!) This is the kind of girl I want to date!! I'm actually excited by the person, and not the prospects of getting some. I also believe she is interested in me(gave me "the eyes" all night, kept close contact, occasionally grabbed me, gave me a "sample massage", and asked me if I was enjoying myself, etc....I assume these are all good signs! She even told me she was all nervous when I asked for her #-I met her on a cold approach, got the # and the first date...)
I'm 25 yrs. old and have dated some really crappy women. I have my life together, am confident with women, and always trying to improve myself. I expect to meet someone who is close to the same, but have found it very hard.
Guys, when you meet or have met someone that you really liked, how did you handle yourself? I find myself looking at all of the postive things that happened on the date between us, yet there is this little demon that says,"She is not interested-you need more proof!". I guess having had bad relationships and no luck when it comes to actually dating a cool girl, has left me with a "Maybe I don't deserve to find a good relationship" mentality.
Unfortunately, I believe the way I have viewed women as objects of lustful fulfillment, has really hindered my ability to seek out positive relationships(not all this bang a chick, then the next one crap...Makes me feel like trash..). I know what to do with women(when to call, how to act, etc.), but it is this feeling of insecurity that has led me to post.
I know it is stupid to ask questions like, "Is she interested?, How do I set up the 2nd date?, etc. I know it all comes down to confidence. Yet, confidence doesn't fill the void. I can be confident until my head pops off and a girl may or may not like me. I just wanted to write this for the hell of it. Thanks guys, peace
