"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

Ya know, I've been doing so well this summer and the start. I was seeing different girls, I've been not caring, I was living. But at the same time I wanted a girl to keep, just to have someone around ya know? I met this blonde at one of our football games and we went to homecoming, blah blah blah. Anyways, Needless to say, I pretty much fell for her. Oneitis. Whatever.

I can't really explain my frustration and dissapointment in myself. I swore up and down too never get involved romantically again at my age(18). And here I am all dissapointed with the fact that I believe things are going downhill with me and her, and I don't know why. I can't snap myself out of this depressive sad mad mood i'm in. It's like I'm afraid of losing another girl, I'm afraid of being alone and looking all over again. I tell myself there's so many girls out there, but then again I just look at the fact that I've NEVER been good with gf's and I just ask myself "Why the hell do you make her to be different? Nothing good will come out of this". And nothing does, Just me worrying, Being mad, Getting angry, Sad. Whatever.

Pretty much... Everything is looking bad for me and her. I don't want to get into details nor do I think we should care.

Point is. Im going to let off some steam. Learn from this guys

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

Well for a update guys. I learned my lesson and am vowing never to get emotionally involved again iwith a girl. I'm telling you the truth is this. Women are liars and you must always have the upper hand.

I called that blonde tonight to see what she was doing cause she had to "babysit" all night. She never picked up, No big deal I had a feeling she was'nt going to anyways. Anyways, I accidently beep her within the last 10 min of the call and I just turn my phone off cause I felt embaressed enough calling her 2 times in 10 minutes. How needy is that? Complete accident tho.

My buddy calls her up because he wanted to speak to her on his phone about something. She picks up and she's at some party. Has her friend answer the phone asking who it was. Then they break up, he calls again and some guy picks up asking if it was me "lewis"(my real name, don't use it tho). I was steaming at this point cause for some reason he decided to call her while I was in the car. He explained to the kid it wasnt me and they just hung up.

I'm not angry anymore, More embaressed than anything. And I vowed to my buddy, that we will go back to what we we're doing in the summer. Just hooking up and leaving.

NEVER again am I getting involved emotionally. What a horrible expierence and I'm glad I learned. Not worth my time over some stupid girl who's a moron neways. Good too look at, But that's about it. Including I suck at buildiing a relationship. So I'll go back to what I'm good at.

I'm just embaressed and don't know what too think? Why the hell things went so wrong. I blame myself but at the same time I don't need a lying ***** about me neways. Ya know?

All I have to say is....

What do you do wrong in relationships?

Relationships are good, alot of people here only look down on em because they had past experiences of being cheated on, whipped, etc before they came to this site. But being in a relationship could benefit you. I could go into detail but that's a whole 'nother thread.

In relationships I can't really explain what I do wrong. It's just that I'm bad at them. I see so many girls cheating on there bf's, girls that I'm hitting on responding well too it. Despite having a BF. And to see all that makes you think.. Why the hell would I want to be that guy?

Your right I have had bad expierences with relationships, I was needy, Jealous, Worried 24/7. Hell with that blonde I was.. And by the way.. She called me yesterday, I have yet to call her back and I don't know if I will. Either A: I find out she likes me or there's still something to go for and I start liking her and end up digging myself in a whole. Or B: Don't call her back, See if she cares enough to call me. Then keep looking for more girls. Which sucks cause I would like someone to be "with" at times. Ya knnow? Cold winter months can get hard. But f it.

Oh well.

Your problem was to get attached to some average chick. It's like betting assloads of money to a team you don't know, playing a sport you don't know. It might go your way, but it probably won't, either way you don't know wtf is going on until it ends.

Problem no.2 is to get into a serious relationship at your age. Judging by your writings, you're defintively not ready for a relationship. Not that it's a bad thing, it's a good age to have fun.

Dont hate em, **** em!

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

agreed. It's all good. I met some good looking girl sunday night at some party. We hooked up and now she wants to hang out this weekend. lol

Oh and the blonde claled that night, Who cares right?

I think it's more of that fact that I get frustrated that other guys are successfull dating girls. like boyfriend and girlfriend type. They break up, but I'm sure they had a good time together. Unlike me. I never really had a solid relationship. But then I remember that probably well over half those guys are whipped really bad and their gf's are cheating on them with guys like me. Or PUA's
