"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

I don't talk to girls.

I'm a junior and college and I had this same problem last year. I know a good amount of people around campus and have about eight *close* friends that I'm extremely lucky to have and I usually spend my friday and saturday nights going to parties, but I don't really hit on girls ever. Never in one class since my freshman year has a girl caught my eye or interested me, at parties everyone is too drunk (including me, I don't want to make a fool of myself), I don't have time to stop and talk to random girls around campus, and my job takes up my Mon-Fri nights (I'm a telemarketer, it's all I could find, and there are no attractive girls that work there for the most part).

Two of my four roommates have girlfriends, but one of those girlfriends doesn't have any friends, and the other is always with her boyfriend at our place, so I can't get any connections off of them either.

My friends always make fun of me for being the "pretty" one of the group, yet I get the least amount of ass. I'm not really scared, I just don't have any opportunities. I know I should *make* opportunities, but like I said, I don't have much time to just walk around campus and stop girls cold. Any suggestions on where I could meet girls around campus?

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

How about you take it a step further. You don't even have to hit on girls...go to a party just to mingle with people, make it a point to go up and chatting with a girl you have no interest in getting with for a few minutes, excuse yourself, talk to your boys...but then find another one of these girls. Notice how your comfort level was. Only way to reach this comfort level around the girls you are interested in is to slowly overtime, develop the comfort level. So quit being an ******* to girls you don't like and chat them up!

The real reason is that you fear rejection, and yes you are scared. You go to lots of parties with your friends, and you're saying you have no opportunities? What kind of bs is that?

Of course you have time to stop girls cold. It takes like 2 seconds, no one is that busy. The truth is you are scared to do so. Theres nothing wrong with that, but first you must realize the real reason why it's not working out instead of trying to rationalize it by the fact that you don't have much time. Granted I'm sure you're very busy, but we both know that's the the TRUE reason for your lack of success.

Yeah I guess I'm a little scared, but I really haven't seen any girl that would be so attractive that I'd be forced to make a move. At parties there are girls, but most of them are eh, and I usually get too drunk and would make a fool of myself. I really just can't find a woman I'm dying to meet that would actually be worth overcoming my fear of approaching, if that makes sense.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

How are you sooo picky?? Making excuses to justify your fear. You said youre a little scared already. You dont have to find "the one", approach the girls that are "eh" and youll overcome your fear ov approaching.

From my experience getting drunk makes talking to people easier and you don't care to "make a fool of yourself" cuz you are drunk and don't care. Thats just from my experience though.

you want it but not so badly you'll go with any old tarted up bint. but you aint got enuf brass to go up to the good stuff when it surfaces? gotta change that! i agree with a few other posts mate, practice on the not so good ones (who said you had to do anything with em?) and work your way up. you'll get there.

take some adderal or something when on campus and you´ll chat up nonstop with anyone. also when on parties, drink but dont get wasted, just enough to loose your inhibitions. talk to ANY girl, even if she´s not hot, youll see that they are not something to be afraid, theyre just one of the billion girls that were put in this planet by god for us to interact with.

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.
