"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Hey guys. ok heres the deal, I havn't seen my girl friend in about 4 days, so before she left to another state, i asked her if she wanted to go to the movies with me or just anywhere else. Well she told me she couldnt because her mom said so, well i didnt really believe her so i told her to swear on that, and she couldnt, and so she was just lying about ever asking if she could go out. She said she just thought her mom wouldnt let her go out anyways. Well i got pretty mad and she hugged me and all that, then she called up her mom and asked her. Her mom said she couldnt but she said she might be able to on Tuesday, when they get back from their trip. So thats today. After 4 days of not seeing her, and not even talking to her at all on the phone even though ive called her about 50 times, she only called me for a few minutes or so because she cant be caught using the phone i guess, her parents are pretty strict. Well anyways she finally calls me 2 hours from approaching back home, she told me her mom said she couldnt go out because she had to stay home and watch the baby, so i asked her if i could go to her house instead. Well she never got back on me on that one. few hours later i finally see her on instant messanger, she didnt say much for about a minute. So i was talking to her and she said i couldnt come because they were busy and her mom said i cant. And i asked why? She said because we would be home alone with her and her sister who 6 years old, and i said so? She said some people dont care. like we would actually do something. I wouldnt. I didnt even intend on doing anything like that, just go to her house and have company with her. well that was pretty much the highlight of our convo, she was on the internet for about 10 minutes. She was barely even speaking to me, only replying every other minute or so, she was too busy on myspace doing who knows what. I Got the feeling that she was lying to me again.. well i just dont understand. i havnt talked to her in 4 days she barely talks to me, just so she can go on myspace. Am i being too paranoid or too insecure??? Should i throw this in her face or simply not care? I dont know what to do about it.... please let me know...

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Maybe im just too insecure, I don't know, but the last time she was on an instant messanger, she was barely speaking to me either. I Was talking and talking, and she was on the computer really late at night. later than usual. she was still ignoring me. Replying every minute or 2 minutes or so. well i found out she was just talkin to this dude because i got his screename off his myspace, and he told me he was, and that she was messanging him like crazy. So i called her out on it, and then she said its because "im not really talking about anything". well i guess hes more interesting than i am to talk to.. Well anyways, im left there ignored... i asked her a question. she never got back to it. She finally messages me and says good night. and signs off.. I know shes not cheating on me, and its just only on the computer. But should i be worried???

Thanks for the reply elor. Well yeah I'll do that. Im tired of being her *****. But when im not, and i turn into a man, things happen, and she thinks i dont love her anymore, or im mad at her etc. Like the convo for instance, I got pissed because she was on myspace ignoring me instead of talking to me. So i stopped talking. then 2 minutes later she asks, "why arent you talking". then i said "hey", then she replies "are you mad at me", and she said she had to go so she signed off on me.

I was thinkin of adding a ton of woman on my myspace and talking to them but she always got mad at me for that, when she has like 800 guys in her myspace and she talks to them all the time...

You are smothering her. Get some of your own interests. Your life shouldn't revolve around your GF. She is just a nice added plus.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.
