"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

Well just an update. I've been with her a few hours ago and told her personally that i wasn't feeling it anymore and couldn't go on.I tried to make it smooth but tears came to my eyes when talking to her... i couldn't avoid it. She wouldn't even look into my eyes, she didn't told me anything just left... i think i've ruined my chances of friendship with her, i didn't want to LBJF her, i really wanted her friendship....

I feel like **** guys, no feeling of greatness, of vengeance for dumping a girl when lots of them did the same to me without giving a ****,i'm pure and simple feeling bad and feeling a sense of relief at the same time.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Sh!t situation...

Well you did it in a respectfull manner and thats a good thing... In a few days she should calm down and realise that you never did anything wrong to her, and you will probably be able to get her friendship back... But dont just go and say to yourself " ah F*ckit, if she wants to be like this, then F*ck her" but rather try put yourself in her position and understand why she is acting like this... She probably DID like you alot, but if you werent feeling it, then its best that u told her now, before your relationship got even more serious... So what i think u should do is give her a day or 2 to calm down and think things out, then go to her and speak to her and sort things out... And make sure that u make it clear to her that u WANT her friendship and that she really does mean alot to you, but you just werent feeling that "romantic" feeling for her etc. If she tries to resist and tell you to go away etc, then pull her towards you, hug her while saying into her ear that she means alot to you and that u doont wanna loose her friendship. ( At this point she should of had alot of time to think things out and calm down, so she SHOULD accept it and agree to only be friends with you.)

Let me know how it goes man... and i'm sorry to hear about the breakup.

Laterz...

you need to give her time. 2-3 months to allow her emotions to subside.

Now you know why most guys will not do it face to face. Good job in telling her directly. Don't worry about getting emotional, it just means that you did have feelings for her.

Give yourself a couple of quiet hours just to to do a relationship autopsy to understand what worked and what didn't in the relationship. After that figure out what you will do differently in the future and set your mind to doing it.

Finally, go out with the guys and have a good time. Approach women and have a good time with your newfound freedom. Give yourself enough time to exhale before committing yourself again.

Yeah, breaking up is still my weakest point too. I don't feel good about dumping someone and the hardest part is telling her face to face. Don't worry about feeling bad. Like someone else mentioned, it shows you have feelings and you are not an animal.

The girl will be okay in a while.. The friends part might not be possible if her feelings for you remain. Sometimes it just doesn't work that way..

You did the right thing! Most girls have sex with another dude before they call it off - men are more honest and direct in this regard - we just want it to be over!!

No matter how many times women have dumped you - you couldn't be harsh for this reason alone - you saw her as a person and respected her humanity and hence your emotional upheaval, albeit a bit dramatic. This just reveals that you are a honest caring person and that you understand the emotional impact upon her since you have experienced it yourself in prior relationships!!

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.
