"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

So, I asked out this girl who I was going for to the movies. She said maybe she'd come but she had a party to go to.

The next day I asked if she was coming. She said no she couldnt - maybe another time. I said 'How about next week', and she said maybe. Now, Im not a guy who takes maybe, it leaves me fvcking confused for ages. Now, this was a girl who I thought was totally into me (sending me flirty txt messages, always casually bringing up doing some thing together), so it suprised me that she didnt have a definite answer.

Im not really interested in being in the friendzone, so I needed a definite answer.I said 'Will you go out with me, Yes/No. No maybes. She said something like she didnt know. This went on for about 15 mins and she still had no definite answer. By now, I couldn't really care less about impressing her or looking good because basically i thought she had just been leading me on, so straight out , I angrily said 'Well fvck that then', just as I was about to leave.

But then she was like 'No......WAIT! Yess.......I will go out with you'

So now, I talk to her today on msn and we're all friendly and normal and happy, and we plan on going out soon in the coming week. Is that ok? What are your thoughts?

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

Lucky recovery.

Really, you shouldn't have cared about this response from her. That, and always make it seem like she's getting included to the movies, as compared to invited. It covers up the idea of a date, and it allows for a easy way to take her no and make her really think about it.

Yeah, what Docs said is right, I'd only add that you don't convince a girl to do something. When she flaked the first time you shoulda moved on. If she wanted to come, shed've made contact.

She's an attention *****. As long as you pay attention to her, she'll be manipulating you. Notice when you said "fvck that" and gave up on her she came rushing back. Why? Because you were withdrawing the attention she desperately craves.

Success with these kinds of girls is to give them small doses of attention to keep them satisfied and coming back for more. It's likes giving drugs periodically to an addict. If you give them all the drugs they want, all the time, they won't see your value.

Close call.

If you didn't show that much attachment in being accepted or rejected earlier on, and went with the "Screw it' attitude, you would have done better.

Note that if a girl seems like she is totally interested in you, and gives you that kind of answer, a lot of times it's a Sh!t Test, make sure you plow.

Also, i don't like asking,

Asking for them to come. I usually say "I really want to see Movie X, if you want to see it with me give me a shout, but be quick, i mean, i REALLY want to see it, i might find some one else soon".

Or, sometimes, if they are totally into me i just go with the direct ballsy way:

"12pm, Coffee Shop X, tomorrow, see you there, if you make me wait, i won't speak to you ever again, i'm not the patient type"

Done.

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.
