I cheated on my girlfriend, and though I was totally in the wrong, i won't go into details, but it's a less bad than it seems. Anyhow, I've learned my lesson. It'll never happen again.

Anyhow, although she definitely wants to work it out, and we're even considering couple's therapy, I've noticed some changes.


She's buying other little things.
She's buying new clothes. She's buying new fake eyelashes she's never had before (but she did wear them that night at a party we both went to.)
She wants to start tanning.

Do you guys think this is a pickmeup confidence builder for her, or her just sticking around with me until she's back into tip top dating shape before dumping me?

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

No.. she found out.. And ever since, she's wanted to be around me every day.. Which I have allowed, since I ****ed up. Last two days have been pretty hard, though. I think she's trying to "punish me"...Anyone else dealt with that.

i know someone who cheated on their wife then the wife got breast implants and liposuction.. with his money.. thats similar to whats happening with you.
