I can see Venus!

go outside, and look to your west and look directly up in the sky.. it's that bight ass star.. that's venus

we went out and saw it and boy it is bright...

something about it being in view only for tonight.. I'm not a scientist but (ironically) a girl I know called and told me to go outside and look. i looked it up on line and sure enough.. it's Venus.. Saturn is out there too but I can't see it. something about them being around the sun or something like that for only today


I think I get it now. Today is the only day where Saturday happens to be lined up right behind Venus, making Venus. which is normally gas.. easier to see, or something like that

there is a new series on the history channel that i love called "the universe"
i saw the one about the sun, and it blew me away.

one is about jupiter and one is about the ends of the earth and there is another also

Sweet! I saw it too. Apparently it shows only once every 253 years or something according to my Dad. I recorded it on video, but I don't have the driver to upload it. I'll try it again with my other camera...

It was pretty freaking cool zooming in with my camera. It looked like it had a layer around it and little dots inside. I could definitely see that it was purple-bluish. Thanks for telling us about this, otherwise I would have never known.
