It all boils down to the fact that many (not all) have a need for physical attractivness. Anyone with this as a high need (male or female) will quickly get "in love/lust" feelings for someone of the opposite sex who meets their definition of physical attractivness. Physical attractiveness also varies from person to person. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

P.s. A rich ugly guy won't get "any" women he wants either. Just women with a need for financial support. Which falls into the top 5 needs of a lot of ladies. Someone with physical attractivness as a high need won't like the ugly rich guy.
