Hypergamy and Its Critics

Something I was thinking about when I was making my posts today.

Hypergamy is only hated by two groups: incels and feminists.

Incels hate it because they’re outside the dating market. They know that women will never choose them.

Feminists hate it because accepting it would mean admitting something uncomfortable, in which that many women do look for a man who is better than them, stronger, more successful, -and more capable. This breaks their whole narrative that “they are equal in everything.”

The conclusion here is that normal men understand it and normal women practice it. The only ones who get angry are those who can’t compete.

Many people, particularly those in governments or who are government adjacent (like academics and journalists) hate the idea of anything related to human "nature." And since hypergamy is part of female "nature" these types don't like the idea.

The wet dream of statists is that human nature is a blank slate with no nature.

So the perfect society (according to statists and people who like to them of themselves on team-government) doesn't depend on human nature of any kind, rather the perfectly implemented, top down, government policy.

Any kind of human "nature" gets in the way of that so they don't consider it valid.
