I'm in the same boat buddy. I buy huge bags of raw nuts and finish them off in a couple of days. I've switched to whole wheat pasta and try my best to stick with foods that aren't processed. The bad thing is that aside for costing a bunch more, you can't let them sit around because they'll go bad because they don't contain all those preservatives.

This is the first time I've ever seen the words advantages and hydrogenated in the same sentence.

All I have to say is LOL!!!!

I avoid anything that says hydrogenated in a heart beat, but if I have to eat food or a drink with hydrogenated/natural flavors/aspartame/Monosodium Glutamate/High Fructose Corn Syrup/Modified Corn Starch.

All I have to do is Pray, ask God to Bless it, Thank God for the food, Confess of my sins to God and ask God for Forgiveness through the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ, and then Tell that food that you love the food, and to say I'm sorry and to ask the Food for forgiveness and to ask myself to forgive myself for eating this food or drink.

Asking for Forgiveness as if I was the one who created hydrogenated foods and Me who put it in all the foods and had children and little babies eat food with it.

And also thank the company who made it, pray for them and ask for there forgiveness for putting it in the food in the first place.

The Bible teaches us to Love our enemies.
If we Hate our enemies you are only creating more hate in the world.
If we take full responsibility for our actions and the actions of others and to confess and ask for forgiveness as if you committed that sin they did, then the world will begin to heal.

Actually, hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated oils can be very good for lubricating squeaky door hinges or gears; and, if in liquid form, can be used to wash tar off your hands without the nasty scent that other de-greasers have, if you need to do any roofing work or such.

also, an excellent fire-starting material--just coat some scrap paper.
