"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Last week i was in a ****ty mood and thought about my approach, how i handled situations and and the time i made stupid mistakes (which is probably more than anyone here). I started to question how i did things and all my flaws. Needless to say i sucked my "psuedo"-confidence away, not to mention i care far too much of what people think of me, causing me to walk on egg shells. When it comes to hanging out with girls solo i ALWAYS hesitate when it comes to making a move, even if i know they want me to. I dont understand quite a few things obviously. Why would a girl still be down if someone hesitates (lack of confidence)? Appearently i bore girls as well. This girl i was chilling with last night said i bored her, but we did make out. So is it just a curtiousy thing or what? I guess i just dont know when to make a move. I dont wanan be real eager, but im tired of doing things the way i do. Im basically trying to, reinvent if you will, my game. Ive always gotten decent results but...its gonna be a new year, im moving to go to school in a college town and i need to unleash my potential...so help me out.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

You need to define yourself so you have some idea how you should approach a woman. Right now you're trying to wing it or play it by ear and not having a game plan is the thing that is causing your hesitation. It's as if you are a salesman who needs to sell to a woman the contents of a box however, you have no idea what's in the box. How do you present it if you don't know what it is?

If a girl "made out" with you even though she called you a bore, tells me that you have to be a decent looking guy to overcome your lack of an exciting personality!

Some people do not have an exciting dynamic persona so I don't think you can be the most exciting cat in town just by willing it - - but what you cam do is do fun exciting activities where the main focus is not on talking but on the activity -- then you can make commentary as needed.

Once a girl knows you better and likes you then she sees you in a different light and will not judge you solely on one characteristic - and will make allowances for your flaws!!

As Francisco said..plan things out more if you are not the spontaneous type - which you are obviously not!

True...very true.I think its not that i dont have an exciting personality per se, but i just hold a lot of stuff back. During the movie i was bored as hell and kept looking around and fidgiting. I should have asked for a tour and been all a.d.d. and random and what not. When it comes to all people, not just girls, i bite my tongue quite often and i hate it. I konw i cant change overnight but it seems like ill never change. There will be times when i know i should say what i want and i want to, but i just dont.

In all honesty, i thought i was more spontaneous than i come off to be. Im sure last night i didnt, but thats obvious. More of a reason to not give a fvck.
