Hey gents!
I've decided to commit myself to getting better with women. I'm 31 and would really love to get my **** together. I've had 5 serious girlfriends (some hot as hell, some average), a handful of one night stands (mostly years ago), and just got out of real weird FWB thing that involved a girl that was a rollercoaster.
I initially focused on what was wrong with her (BPD? NPD?) and determined that it doesn't really matter. The only thing that matters is improving my situation and making myself better. I went NC on her and have been pouring myself into reading and getting better.
Here's my current reading list, in the order I plan to read them and my rationale:
1. Becoming a 3% man by Corey Wayne - I love this guy's videos and was planning to read this 10 times, but don't know if I can slog through it more than twice. The writing is just awful and the weird stories he goes on and on about often seem unhelpful.
2. The Way of the Superior Man by David Deida - I feel like I really didn't respect myself in this last relationship, until I ended it. This seems like a good hard kick in the ass.
3. No More Mr. Nice Guy- See rationale above. I also like that it has exercises.
4. The Rational Male by Rollo Tomassi - I've seen this referenced as necessary PUA reading. I don't know much about it TBH.
5. Rules of the Game and The Truth by Neil Strauss - I read 'The Game' years ago. While I didn't think the content was great, the writing was entertaining. I bought these on a whim.
6. The Man's Guide to Women by John Gottman - This is actually written by a PhD in psychology. I like this one because it isn't a PUA book and I think alternative perspectives are helpful.
In addition to reading, I've been
Anything else I should be reading, doing, or thinking?
I appreciate any advice!

In addition to reading, I've been
- Hitting up online dating over the past few days and got a few hits. I'm not looking for anything serious here, but just chances to put my learnings into practice.
- Working out 5x a week. Running, lifting, eating healthy, supplementing smartly, and getting a bunch of sleep.
- I'm making an effort to talk to random girls at work. I know this sounds stupid, but even if I'm not attracted to them, I'm going out of my way to up that experience.
- I've been upgrading my wardrobe to be a little more fashionable.
- Meditating once a day
- Trying to live by Stoic principles
Anything else I should be reading, doing, or thinking?
I appreciate any advice!
