Senior Don Juan
It's more like a "pick-up paragraph", but i just thought of it and it seems to have some potential.
Have a paper pad and a pen in your hand. Find a chick you like and tell her the following, while displaying your best smile:
You: Hey, would you like to participate in a short 4-question survey?
Her: Yeah... (if she says no, well, tough luck)
You: Ok, question 1. What is your name?
Her: Karen
You: You're doing great!
Now, Karen, are you currently seeing someone?
Her: *blushes* yes / no (keep going even if she says yes)
You: Question 3. On a scale from 8 to 10 (emphasise the numbers), how attractive do you find me?
Her: *laughs* From 8 to 10? haha... Well.. 10?
You: Fabulous! Now, would you be willing to go out with me, say, this next week-end?
Her: yes / maybe / no (tough luck again)
You: in case she says maybe say "I'll take that as a yes", then say "Great! you qualify for the bonus question, question number 5! What is your phone number?
Notes:
After each answer she gives, carefully write it down. Have columns for each new girl and fill in the info they tell you.
I think this approach is good because it eases the tension on both sides, because it has a bit of sense of humor. It also gives you the edge in the discussion, because you are basically testing her to see if she qualifies for a date with you.
If anyone wants to try this (pugsley, maybe?), please do, and reply here with the results.
