...approach a girl that

1) is sitting on a bus, listens to her IPod and you sit next to her?

2) is walking up the stairs in front of you and is busy talking to her friends?

3) is sitting somewhere and is busy talking to her friends?

these are pretty much the only opportunities I get to approach girls.

any ideas?

1) Get in front of her so she can see you, and mouth out words without saying them, like you're trying to talk to her but her music is so loud she can't hear you. She'll turn the ipod down or off, and then you can say whatever you have in mind.

I find the bus is one of the worst places to PU/ number #. For some reason, people and especially chicks have their shields up on the bus. I'm not saying it can't be done, I just find there are easier places to do it.

However, there are advantages of being on the bus so use them. She can't run away, she has no choice but to pay attention to you.

The best bet would be to sit in front of her. I would avoid sitting beside her so your not intruding on her personal space. Then just turn around and ask her something to break the ice, aka the time, directions, etc... then go from there once you have your in.

As for # 2, you could goose her (just learnt the word last night on ET! and had to use it)

what do you mean by "standard group approach"?
there is this one chick in school for example. She´s like two years older than me and she is always sitting there with like 6 other good friends of hers. Some are male some are female. I would have no idea what to say.

The problem isn´t my lifestyle, but it´s the fact that I like American looking chicks (blonde+blue eyes) and those are really rare in Germany, where I´m living right now. I´m going clubbing, but I´m not 18 yet so I have to go to clubs for 16 year olds. Most of the chicks in there look like 12 year olds with too much makeup and beer bellys and act like they are the sh!t.
