"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Let's say you are after a particular HB 8. Her friend (whom you are also friends with) suspects you like HB 8, and asks you if you like HB 8.

I am wondering how the top DJ's would respond to this.

The reason I ask is because I would shoot back with something like "No, but she loves me." Problem - the friend would probably laugh but then insist on a serious answer.

Just a scenario I came up with that started to boggle me as I thought more and more into it. A serious "no" may be reported back to HB 8 and may cause a resulting loss of interest (or not necessarily interest, but interest in pursuit for her).

Roll in with the thoughts.

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Sounds like a good response to me, but I would think that it would lean towards admittance, no?

I would be very careful in this scenario. You don't want to get caught up in a situation where HBother plays matchmaker. If she does, you come across as very weak, like your not man enough to approach her. If this happened to me, I would tell HBother yes I do like her, then I would proceed to call HB8 before HBother calls to tell her. If you don't have her number, then use the opportunity to get the # from HBother.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

you put your hands up in the air smile and you say, "well... what can I say :) "

After all this is the kind of thing tht happens to you all the time.

Then you hit that girl up sometime. After that you hit her friend up.

Heh, I'm in this spot too. I come in occasionally to this resturant, and there's Heather, the cashier, and her friend in the back (don't know the name). Anyways, I've dodged answering that question with "maybe a little", and apperently the whole place has been talking in secert about me, which gives me points.

What I'm going to do is suck in both two girls at one. The next time I walk in and I have both girls working..I'm going to get them to admit indirectly that they do like me, and then I'm turning it around into "Well, what we could do, is I'll take Heather on a date one night, and you right after (*key* because if I kiss one, that cancels the other out when they talk if there was different days), and then you two can fight over each other for me."

So, in essense, if I kissed both of them and they both really want me, it should get interesting. Heh..

She shouldn't be asking you that question, either tell her that or ask her in what way and go in to extreme graphic detail about whether she means just for sex, blow jobs etc.

Just embaress her and make her feel stupid for asking such a question in the first place - it's none of her damn business.
