So, if you have the Federal license that lets you LEGALLY convert the semiauto to the "rock-and-roll" version, all you have to do is buy one of the real deal guns, look at it carefully, take measurments, dis and reassemble several times. of course, do the same to the semiauto variant, see which parts you need and what they do, how the receiver is different, etc. c
You should check which of the needed parts can be bought, and which ones you have to modify or build from scratch. While you are AT it, of course, make several of them!
You may have to "build-up" surfaces with a Tig welder, mill,grind or lathe cut them, surface harden them with an oxyacetylene torch and Casenite powder, etc. Other builders of such guns might well pay you $500 for one little part, if it saves them all the money spent on machinery, hours spent learning to use them and make the parts, etc.
The little ($500 each) Chinese mills and lathes (Harbor Frieght tools, Cummings, LittleMachineShop.com) are a huge boon to hobbyist types. Being small and lw, if not durable enough for lots of production type work, they can be carried up and down a stairs, to be set up in an attic, basement, public storage. A low-cost power-inverter will let you run your car's engine and drive such machines, in places where there is no 110v service.
Once you have at least one of the semiauts converted to "select-fire' capability (ie, throw a switch and have either semiauto firing or "rock and roll", you can sell the collector's variant (perhaps losing 1-2k$ if you are in a hurry to get back your $) Then you can make 4-5k $
per DAY converting a few of the semiauto variants and selling them to class 3 mg dealers.
While there may be such a demand only for say, a dozen of any one type of smg, but there's a easily a dozen different types of submachineguns and assault rifles. So, you can sell at least 150 of them, at a profit of 4k each. If you can't think of a way to retire on the 400k left (after taxes) on 600k, you just aint worth saving.
