"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

How would you cope, and stay positive in this kind of situation.

Well, yep, as some of you might know from my previous posts, my parents are ****s, and they always will be. Sure, they buy me a lot of nice stuff, but they treat me like crap. Let's start off with my dad, if I was going to describe him in one word, I'd have to say that he is an *******. He has an anger problem and get's pissed off over little things, he's childish, and he's power hungry. This dude gets angry over the littlest things, and doesn't know how to let something go. Seriously though dude, you make a small, human mistake, and he goes f*cking berserk on you. He's also very immature, and childish when he's in a bad mood. The thing that pisses me off the most, is how he kicks me out of the house, and abuses me, because of something HE started. Seriously, one day every things good, people are visiting, and he decides to go and ruin my mood, because he's angry. Eventually, he starts hitting me, and I hit him back in self-defense, we fight, and he decides to be an ******* and kick me out.

There was also this time on vacation that he decided to be an *******, and ruin everything. Here's how it went, I was just digging in the sand, minding my own business, then this assh*le goes off and throws his chair, because I was apparently digging under it. He didn't give me any warnings, or anything, he tells everyone that he did, but that's bullsh*t. Now if my father was nice, like other peoples fathers, he would of simply said, "Hey, son, could you please stop doing that?", but no, my dad is a prick. Worse thing is, is that because this assh*le was too ignorant to go and get the chair, I had to go get it. I had no idea that me digging sand, was making his chair fall, and he had NO right to do what he did. So instead of everyone having a good time, he had to get me in a bad mood, and therefore, I got everyone else in a bad mood. He puts on a nice act for everyone, and even tries to fake being nice to me sometimes, but I'm not one to be fooled, I know how he is inside. Moving on to my mom, well, there's not much to say about her, other than the fact that she's a *****, with an attitude problem. To sum up this post, my parents are childish, immature, power hungry, assh*les, and it's very hard to stay positive, with them always getting me down. I think that I should also add that my parents demand respect, but give me none, because they seem to think that just because I'm a kid, I don't deserve respect. So basically, how would you guys cope, and stay positive, if your parents were abusive assh*les? I want to know, because I'm having a very hard time being positive, when I know that any random day, my parents could decide to be assh*les, and kick me out.

Note: I bolded the last sentence, because some people don't like to read the whole topic, and therefore, miss the point of the topic. Infact since most of the topic is simply talking about why my parents are *******s, you can just read the last sentence, and save a lot of time.

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

My dads a tosser too. Must be something they go through.

I rarely ever see him though, I work two jobs - and as all I take off them is the roof they give me, everything else (my car, my holidays, my gym membership) are all paid for by myself. They havn't really got anything to moan about.

Find something else to do. S'all I can say.

Sounds like the less time that you spend around them, the happier that you'll be. I'm sure that if you were to get a job and work a lot of hours, you'd be around your parents less, and you'd be making money, which is great! Also, with the money that you're making, you can buy the stuff that you need to help you on your way to DJdom. Clothes, a car, some weights, all handy things.

Sadly, no matter how many hours you work, you will have to return home at some time. My parents aren't *******s, but I hate them anyway, so when I get home, I just get out of their faces as fast as I can. I'll go to my room, listen to music, do homework or whatever. Just avoid them as much as you can, and I'm sure that you'll find that they're much easier to get along with.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
