"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

This was in some girl's blog. I hope this cracks you guys up as much as it cracked me up.

Yeah, so about a week or two ago my dad and I were playing pool. We were talking about guys that I've dated (no, I wasn't the one that brought it up) and then we started to talk about Drew, my most recent beau. I'd still be together with Drew, it's just that he's away at college right now. We've promised not to do anything stupid to hurt the other so it's still like we kind of together. I call him my unofficial. But anyways, my Dad just comes out and says that Drew's just all about one thing...SEX. I'm like "bull-****!" Yeah, if he were all about sex, then why does he (still!) do all the little things? He sends me love letters and calls at random times just to "say hi." Yeah...I think that he's just in it for the sex. (<~I was being saracastic if you didn't catch that)

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

I think she is right. Why would a guy who only cares about sex take time to write letters and keep in touch with a girl he wasn't laying any more?

Love letters + calling at random times + "all the little things" = sex

Correct me if I'm wrong.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

The bigger problem is that this girl thinks that wanting sex in a relationship is somehow wrong. it's a big problem people don't seem to get over with as a group until their 30s or so.

yes but it is human nature not to want to do things that do not pay off imidiatly. If he loves her he does this stuff but because sex comes latter because of doing this, if hes in it for the sex he probably would not do these things.

you need proof?

if you concentrate on your school work you will get better grades. You work now and it pays off latter, almost ebery one wnats better grades, but why do people not work as hard as they could? because its not paying off now!

The biggest problem is that this guy is being a complete AFC and this chick still wants him so bad which goes against everything that is usually said here and then you've got newbies coming in here and reading this and getting confused, ya heard?

Sure he would. Just cause he's doing these things doesn't mean he's NOT hookin' up with girls at college. He goes to college and has his cake, then comes home and eats it too.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Spot on. Standard fare, keeping the oven warm at home so he can have some action when he gets home, because he's getting it at college too.
