How to tell a story / long joke.

I'm not very good at telling stories or long jokes, I think.

I think I should take my time more, act it out a bit, but what do you guys think? I'm sure someone here is good at it.

hey,dont put such an emphasis on it,its not a huge deal,generally ya can find a good balance at humor with women,then refine it,it'll come pretty easy,ive found better to have funny comments in normal convo,rather then funny stories

Not so much with women, more with my mates, just talking telling jokes.

Yes it's a big deal. Most women enjoy guys that know how to tell a good story. A good story teller can emote feelings easily and women love that.

I say take an improvisation class. It will help your confidence, sense of humor, spontaneity as well as your story telling capability.

Ya use pauses, be expressive, and have a good voice tonality. I know what you mean before I never was able to tell jokes because I'd say it too fast or I would mumble and it just wouldn't flow good to the point where they don't understand what I'm talkin about.
