My kids are around that age and I can have pretty good conversations with them. Generally they will up their level of communication with adults. Teen agers are really into current events because they are starting to earn money, and pay taxes, and are thinking about the future.

I'm nearly 60, Who wants to rob the cradle with those 28yo? 18? Probably can't even spell. They'd all have to be home before the streetlight comes on. But I know a 43yo that looks like a swimsuit model and puts those 18yos to shame.

Depends. I've dated 30+ year-olds that were less mature than a 19 year old I dated. Age isn't a god proxy for being interesting or mature.

18 is mature now? Have we been taking crazy pills? I would hardly describe most ADULT men and women at 30 of this generation to be 'mature'. Now, I'm getting called ignorant by a snot nosed 20-something... a few days ago some kid said "Ok, Boomer!" to me... wonderful. I never thought I would be having this conversation.
From my perspective at 40, 18 is still a kid. From your perspective, that's only 10 years away. This was a person born AFTER 2000... my god that means this person grew up after the internet, after the Playstation 2, just after USBs were invented, Camera phones and Blu-rays. Dude this is all new tech for me, lol. Where did the DVD's, VCDs and MP3's go? I swear to god I just got done playing Kingdom Hearts on the PS2 and finishing a degree I started BEFORE this chick was born. Most of the music selection in my house is either on cassette or vinyl. Smartphones? The only guys I knew who had a cell at 20 were dealing drugs. To me, she's a child.

I still remember things from my teens like it was yesterday. Fast cars on leaded gas with no smog control, chicks that didn't want me, how the lights used to spin on top cop cars, getting arrested...oh,...the memories.My old man used to say stuff like this.

Women mature faster than men. Most women in their 30s or 40s have been acting the exact same for 20 years, only difference is that they have more mental issues due to cultural/corporate/college brainwashing, and from dealing with loser men their whole lives.
I have had so many negative experiences with older women (meaning older than 23-25) that I'm pretty much turned off indefinitely from them until I see otherwise. When I'm in my late 30s and 40s I plan to stick with the younger women even if that means limiting my options.
The only problem I run into with younger women is naivete which can be a big turn off, but it's not actually that common.
My friend started dating a 19 year old in his late 20s, and she was one of the coolest and most mature women I've ever met.
Most women hit peak maturity by their early 20s and don't accumulate any more wisdom or sanity for the rest of their lives.
