How to respond when girl talks about other guys?

How should I respond when a girl, whether I'm interested in her or not, talks about other guys. Like her problems with an ex? Would it be bad just to say, "you should talk to a girl about this"?

if she talks about an ex, yawn or change the subject. if she talks about other guys she has no serious dealings with, joke about it or ignore it and change the subject.

You can adress it with maybe a comment or two but then switch to a different comment that will alter her mood.Then instead of talking about past problems,you guys can talk about future plans.

Something quick like "Yeah I agree,I would have never done something like that" then just move on
