One thing which I've noticed about myself when I'm at my best: when I am *on*, it is when I am most genuine and natural. When I am off, it is because I have put up subtle layers of fakeness which conceal my real attractive personality.
One thing which I have noticed from hanging with Woodhaven and Dimitri is that their "game" is not something that they turn on
around girls, and turn off when they're not. For example, when in
set, Dimitri is always complimenting girls. But, he doesn't stop
complimenting and trying to raise the value of others when he's not around girls. He does it ALL THE TIME. This shows that it is
ingrained in his personality, which is the reason why it comes off
so well with girls. He's not supplicating to them with compliments,
he's just being his normal, attractive self.
Most guys at the core have many attractive aspects about themselves. They are alpha, romantic, good storytellers, laid back -- whatever. The difference between guys who have "game" and guys who don't, is that the guys with game can act 100% normal around girls, and show their true attractive personality without faking it. Guys without game get insecure around girls -- so they adopt a fake personality when they are talking to them, because they don't think girls will like their real one.
If you want to change something about your game (being more alpha, romantic, playful, etc) you have to change your entire personality. That is, how you act ALL THE TIME. If you normally act one way and act another around new girls, it comes off as ingenuine.
A good test to determine if you're being genuine around girls, is to ask yourself: Would I act this way if I was just chilling with my
friends? Other than being sexual with her (which you shouldn't be doing with your friends...well at least not too much
) your
personality when gaming and when talking to your friends should be EXACTLY THE SAME.
Do you run a set with girls...then when you're talking to your wing after the set act very differently? Then you are not being genuine. You should find the aspects of your personality around girls which don't match up with your personality when chilling with friends, and elminate them. They are fake and are sabotaging the attractiveness of your real personality, because you are changing who you are in an attempt to impress her.
This is one of the reasons why direct/implicit direct style works
better for most people than indirect style. Most guys when they see a hot girl are interested in her, think she is beautiful, and want rapport with her. When they go in and act disinterested, it is obvious they are faking it in an attempt to raise their value, and they get blown out.
You can use the "friends test" to see whether any aspect of your
game is genuine or not. Suppose you were catching up with an old friend who you hadn't seen in a while.
If he asked you what you were doing for a job now, would you reply that you are an ass model? No, because if you did, he would be thinking -- what a ****in weirdo. You would probably reply normally, maybe tell a him about a few interesting stories which happened to you at your job.
Would you ask him where are you living? How old are you? What do you do? What is your major? all in rapid-fire succession? No, because you already have rapport with him and don't need every small biographical fact of his life. BUT -- would you ask those questions every once in a while? Yes, you would, and you would probably comment or go off on a different thread based on his answers.
When you knew he was coming over, would you rush over to your laptop and memorize a few hours of canned material in order to entertain him? Or would you be spontaneous and natural?
If you wanted to get his phone number so you guys could keep in
touch, would have him write down his email first, then trick him
into writing his number down while he's at it? You get the idea.
