"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

How do you go about developing friendships with hot women. You know the hot, superficial party types. Im in a commuter college with a 60-40 percent girl to guy ratio and i will be damned if i dont at least make any friends with the numerous hotties that are around my campus.

Keep in mind these are girls that give off a "dont approach me vibe" walking around campus

They also know that every guy that they interact with wants to somehow hook up with them. That just how it is I guess.

I don't...I want them as platonic friends and social pivots. But at the same time I don't want to be a supplicating magina like their fanboys.

I also want to develop friendships with average lookin plane janes. I don't underestimate them, they like to go out and have a good time as well. At least If I am on good terms with them, they will put in a good word for all their other girlfriends, including the hotter ones.

Social proof is a powerful weapon in college. Looks, money, what you drive, means sh*t if you are not surrounding yourself with hot women.

How do I go about doing this?

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

i used to have tons of social proof at my uni before i transferred to a new school a couple months ago...and yes, having a huge social network can be awesome

anyway, here are my 2 cent tidbits:

1) befriend everyone, don't judge whatsoever. because that one person will know 7 other people, who you're going to meet later. and then when you go talk to some chick, and both of you know the same person, you have a nice connection ;)

2) hate to be a party-pooper, but personally, i've never had "close" friends who were girls. keyword, close. acquaintances and just social-proof type friends you hang with on occasion, yeah, but close female friends...it was either i like them or they like me. and then when that surfaces the friendship fizzles and dies..although, i'm not saying it can't happen, and perhaps it will be special when it does happen.

personally, the only way i think i'm fixing this problem of mine right now is to befriend girls who 'like' me and try not to lead them on or give them the wrong idea. i'm sure there's cute ones that like you. ljbf them.

3) get involved. never eat alone. make study groups and study-buddies. go to office hours. participate in class  do activities, but don't do them for the sake of doing them. shine. show yourself in everything you do, and do it well.

i started out trying to do tons of things, and realized it's much better if i only do a couple but truly give it my all in those. make yourself known. don't study at home, go out, to the libraries/cafes/bookstores...

at nights, go to parties. now that you've got all these study-buddies numbers in your phone, invite them to eat out with you. next time you know about a party, invite them. be friendly, and they'll invite you next time to their party.

4) help others. just be plain outgoing. lend a hand whenever you can. don't go out of your way, but if it is in your way, you won't lose anything. and don't be afraid to ask for help either.

when you start doing these things, it just multiplies. i'm at a new school now, and this is pretty much what i'm doing. it takes some time, but after about a year, you'll realize you know almost everyone.

best of luck

I'd generally not go for gals I’m attracted to be "just friends", it creates a tense environment around you and if you don't push it further while remaining as "just friends", you may end up acting like an AFC- face it dude, you have little difference in behavior (actions).
I'd go for the gals I’m not attracted to for social prove as they usually have hot friends and can good bridges to them!

bump....

Look you can still be attracted to these girls, does not mean you have to act tense or try to make a move. You gotta look at the bigger implications of being seen with attractive female friends.

If guys thought more with their heads and not with their d*cks then they would utilize this and experience much more success

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

i say fvck the hott superficial girls unless u actually have something in common with them.. cuz if not, talking to them and actually chillin with them is gonna be like pulling teeth and not be worth u not being happy just trying to use them as "social pivots"..

but if u must, just be cool man.. no matter how hott she is, shes a person and thats really it..

i dunno, i wouldn't befriend them unless u have sh1t in common..if u actually have stuff in common and u enjoy them, than thats a lot easier so ur not always pretending and having to work so hard.. feel me?

thanks for the advice guys...and you're right you gotta have somethin in common to be friends or acquaintances, otherwise you come off as fake...but as long as you're getting out of the house and having hobbies then you're gonna be bound to run into hot girls who share the same interests.

Any more advice is appreciated
